A Case of Maligmant Lymphoma(Reticulum cell sarcoma) in the Stomach

Abstract

|
|
A case of malignant lymphoma of the stomach is presented. A 31 year-old female patient was admitted to this hospital with epigastric pain and discomfort, nausea for about 1 year. Physical finding on admission was within normal limit except moderate tenderness on the epigastric region. The routine laboratory examination revealed no remarkable abnormality except the Anemia of moderate degree and positive ascaris ova. The upper G-I series showed the evidence of a questionable ulcer lesion in the prepyloric region. The patient was performed the subtotal gastrectomy with the resection and end-to-end anastomosis of the small intestine. The histopathological examination of the resectioned tumor mass revealed a reticulum cell sarcoma.
